Historic Centennial Win for Rob Oppenheim

Rob Oppenheim is on Fire! Seriously! This could be his year to finally attain that ever ellusive PGA Tour Card that has alluded his grasp for so long. This Spring, after garnering medalist honors at the Massachusetts Open qualifying event held at his home course, Indian Ridge in Andover, Rob took his winning streak south where he played 3 Moonlight Tour events, posting 2 first and 1 second place finish before heading back to his stomping grounds to take his rightful place in Massachusetts golf history along with the likes of Francis Ouimet - as one of only 6 golfers in the history of this 100 year event to have won both the Massachusetts Amateur and Massachusetts Open titles. Not one to rest on his laurels for long, Rob then traveled to Portland Maine to compete in the Maine State Open where he finished 3 strokes behind last years Massachusetts Open champ Jim Renner to tie for second place along with John "Boom Boom" Elliot. No rest for the weary for from Maine it was back to Orlando to play in another Moonlight Tour event, tying for first place before heading up to Canada this week to play in a Canadian Tour event, the Saskatchewan Open, at the Dakota Dunes Golf Club in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Rob tees it up today at 1:00. For tournament results in real time go to the tour website Support Rob in his quest for the PGA Tour card! His personal website is
