Golf Refugees "punk golf" video previously aired on MTV Europe

The UK based Golf Refugees Eco-Friendly Clothing and Accessories brand made quite a splash internationally during the late 1990's as creator of the original black golf ball. Founder and Ceo Peter Gorse is a designer by trade - ergo he's not your typical golf industry guy. In fact he's of that Clash, Sid and Nancy and Elvis Costello genre. Peter says, "Here at Golf Refugees we just love to moan! We moan about everything, the injustices in the world, The R&A, the color of golf balls blah blah blah!" Golf Refugees is definitely a niche brand and have a sort of cult following. GQ USA described their black golf ball as "the irreverent brainchild of some wise-assed Gen-MTV British lads who are subverting golf's stuffy country-club image."
